BrainGenesis Biotechnology Co. Ltd. was founded in December 1997, and is the heir of five thousand years of Chinese medicine and pharmacology.

We have since progressed from work with single plants and herbal medicines, to using a new drug development model that meets US FDA regulations, and engaging in new drug development, and commissioning research organizations to conduct chemical analysis, pharmacological assessment, toxicological safety experiments, and human clinical trials.

Phase III human clinical trials of our new cardiovascular drug BNG-1 were completed at seven medical center hospitals in Taiwan during 2006. BNG-1 is now undergoing review by the Taiwan's Department of Health (DOH) Committee on Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy. We expect that clinical trials will verify that the herbal medicine preparation BNG-1 can prevent and treat strokes.

In addition, our R&D team is focusing its efforts on the development of Chinese herbal medicines, and has made some preliminary progress on liver function regulation and auto-immune boosting drugs.
